From 22nd March 2015 we have opened up calls for speakers via a public CfP and the time has come to close.

Thank you all for your proposals: We will go through them and contact you within the next week, before the ticket on sale period ends to give you a chance to buy your tickets. Due to the limited amount of slots, there is a possibility that your proposal cannot be accepted, but there will always be next year!

Because we would like to give as much opportunity as possible for speakers to gain from our sponsor giveaway, we have decided to extend the deadline to 10th July 2015.

Tickets for PyCon MY 2015 goes on sale today

We have just confirmed our workshop speaker and it's topics, so the tickets go on sale today.

There will be limited seats for the workshop in particular, so please buy your tickets early. For this year, we will also have Early Birds tickets, but they are also limited in number. If they run out, you'll need to purchase the Normal Conference Tickets.

PyCon MY Meeting #6

Iqbal writing for the PyCon My Blog.

We had the 6th organizers meeting for PyCon MY 2015 yesterday. We discussed updates and issues concerning ticketing and also sponsorships. Ras will be working to finalize our sponsorship packages, and I will be finalizing the ticketing page. We target to have these two released by the end of this month.

Slowly but surely, everything is falling in place for a great PyCon!
